Chalk walls and foam
These pictures are all made from scrap materials and off cuts saved from the bin!. Its surprising what you can use..... and very satisfying knowing you have tried not to add to land fill.
Sheets of fabric are joined together to create the sea and the hills. This is then cut as required to complete the image. Then i add appliqued motiffs which are decorated with free motion embroidery. The whole thing is finished with hand stitches, beads, sequins, buttons and printed mottos.
