Encaustic - BYZANTINE - large work
BYZANTINE - is an encaustic work with a heavy gold shellac burn. it has a vivid turquoise/gold hue with added definition from the dark gold/bronze shellac burn. This large piece really comes to life with the addition of natural or artifical light which I have tried to capture but really needs seeing in person to appreicate. Currently unframed but could be framed to personal perference
