Some Transport Scenes
Here are a few historic transport scenes I have completed recently. Some are Isle of Wight railway scenes and some are from elsewhere in this country. The period portrayed can be anytime during the history of the steam railway and other modes of transport. The Isle of Wight pictures are commisions I have completed in the recent past, the others are images I thought would make an attractive painting and I have produced them mainly for my own enjoyment, Naturally Isle of Wight views are very popular and I am often asked to do a particular Island Railway scene but the Island has people living here now from all over this country and I have had requests for views of railways and, as you can see, Trolleybusses and ships, from many places around this country and this variation is what makes the work most enjoyable.
