Weather Monoprints
Based on the original weather map monoprints I did previously ( shown below) I was given a commission to make a monoprint of Hurricane Irma over the British VirginIslands. I had no source material for this so had to do a lot of research into hurricanes and graphics used to show them. So this is the end result. I also made a blue version and another more stormy one as part of the experimental process. I like doing monoprints as you don’t know what you’re going to get till the final reveal.
