These are continuous band. Some are knitted with enough stretch that it can be pulled around your shoulders, while others are deep enough for it to be pulled over your head and can be worn as a hat as well as a scarf.
Some are aMoebuis Cowl which is a circle that has no end nor beginning and has a twist in it.
