About

Anna Keen is a British artist, born on the Isle of Wight in and brought up on the remote scottish island of Arran.

She studied in Paris for six years in the art school 'Les Beaux Arts' where she obtained her diploma with distinctions.

She lived most of her adult life as an artist in Rome,Venice, London, Amsterdam and The Alps. She has had many solo and group exhibitions,won several prizes and is in several important private collections such as BVLGARI. 

Anna Keen returned to the Isle of Wight before Brexit, invited to be resident artist in Dimbola Museum. She currently has a Live/Work studio in the Old Coastguard Cottages of Freshwater Bay and a large format painting studio in Yarmouth boat yard.

Her latest London exhiition 'Mighty Thames of Oil and Ink' (April 2022) was showcased by Vogue Magazine Gallery and included art from her book ‘London The Metamorphosis’ with a foreward by the art critic and historian Edward Lucie Smith.

She will participate in IOW Open Studios in Coastguard Lane, Freshwater Bay.
