Gill Mountford

I work in white earthenware clay dyed with cobalt oxide to produce an Agateware body. The clay is then formed into jugs, bowls, mugs, plates and cheese boards by hand building. The nature of the process means that each piece is unique.

I gained my ceramic skills through adult education at the Isle of Wight College and later at the Jubilee Stores. I now work from my studio in Fishbourne.
