Katherine Gotrel

In my art I like to capture the beauty in objects and places and different medium allow me to express different ideas, some interpreted through use of colour and perspective with aspects of reality and some of abstract. Through my paintings  I hope to take you on a visual journey, every creation is an experiment and leads me to hopefully leave a lasting impression to those who view.

I am a graduate of Central Saint Martins. Having attained an honors degree in Jewellery Design and Silversmithing I went on to become a renowned Costume Jewellery Designer working alongside companies such as Swarovski, Butler and Wilson and Attwood and Sawyer.

My passion for painting never left me and two years ago I started to investigate my innate talent and have combined this with my enduring passion for designing Jewellery.
