My Island photography focusses on two main areas landscape and portraits.

Landscapes are often moody shots more often than not taken in the lovely West Wight in winter when I think the light is at its best.

My landscape photos are available in two formats – gloss varnished and framed and for a more contemporary feel printed on Di Bond Aluminium which allow the images to be displayed in the home or outside in the garden.

My portraits tend to be taken out of doors with a recent example being the West Wight People and Place exhibition at the Dimbola Museum and Galleries which illustrated local people and their connections to land and sea.

I would be pleased to take outdoor commissions of people on the island.

Please contact me to talk through your requirements.

I was trained in photography by John Vickers at the John Vickers School of Photography in London. I then ventured into a 20-year career in nature conservation and land management before setting up a consultancy supporting community and environmental groups with fundraising and project support.

My photography is taking up more and more of my time and interest – The island is a great place to take photos.

we have two Heritage Coasts, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which covers two thirds of the island and several hundred miles of rights of way to take exercise and to enjoy the view.
