The Recycling Pictures of 2022
In March 2022 I participated in an exhibition dedicated to recycling.using canvases and boards that had previously been printed or painted. It was very much harder than working from new and I decided to use the existing colours as a staring point. The very dark canvases reminded me of my childhood in industrial Stoke on Trent. Even the lighter paintings retain something of their previous life.
